No-Bake Trail Mix Granola Bars
Elevate your trail mix game by making them into these higher protein granola bars. Made with whole foods and simple ingredients, these bars come together in less than ten minutes.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Original ChiChi
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- Your favorite trail mix (nuts, seeds, dried fruit, chocolate chips, etc.)
- Additional honey (optional, if needed for stickiness)
Instructions:
1. Mix Together the Base Ingredients: In a medium-sized bowl, combine 1 cup of Original ChiChi, 1/2 cup of water, 1/2 cup of honey, and 1/2 cup of peanut butter. Stir until the mixture is well combined and smooth. Microwave for 90 sec.
2. Add Your Favorite Trail Mix: Add your favorite trail mix to the bowl, feel free to customize the bars to your liking and stir until combined. If the mixture is too dry, add more honey.
3. Press Mixture Firmly into a Dish: Transfer the mixture into a dish and using a spatula or your hands, press the mixture firmly and evenly into the dish. This step ensures that the granola bars hold together well once they're chilled.
4. Refrigerate and Enjoy: Let the granola bars chill for at least 15 minutes, or until firm. Once chilled, remove the dish from the refrigerator and carefully cut the mixture into bars or squares. Enjoy at home or easily on the go!
