Healthier High Protein Brownies

Our favorite hack is making our favorite dessert recipes higher in protein by simply replacing flour with ChiChi. These healthier protein brownies (no protein powder) is the latest and best chocolatey creation.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup ChiChi
  • 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a square baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: ChiChi, cacao powder, coconut sugar, baking soda, and salt. Whisk them together until well combined.

  3. In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: melted coconut oil, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients.

  4. Once the batter is well mixed, fold in the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.

  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes then(optionally, but highly suggested) serve with coconut yogurt or whipped cream.
